Job summary

PT Sari Baut Net is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of software across web, mobile, and backend systems. The role includes designing test plans, executing manual tests, and building automated scripts to support CI/CD workflows.

You will design and maintain API test suites and collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to uphold quality standards and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
• Experience designing test plans and executing manual and automated tests.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficiency with API testing tools: Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking to identify edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Define QA scope, entry/exit criteria, and acceptance criteria with product and engineering leads.
• Review user stories, requirements, and technical specifications to identify gaps and edge cases before development begins.
• Identify and prioritize test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Execute manual test cases across web, mobile, and API layers; log defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Develop and maintain API test suites using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.
• Track, triage, and manage defects through their full lifecycle using tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to define quality gates and release readiness criteria.
