Job summary

PT. Mowilex seeks a procurement professional in Jakarta to plan, negotiate, and oversee supplier contracts for raw materials and MRO, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchases.

You will manage import procedures, monitor regulatory changes, and drive process improvements across the procurement function while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing in manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good understanding of import regulations and supplier management
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Language: Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and review contract drafts with suppliers
• Negotiate with key suppliers for raw materials
• Lead negotiations with national forwarders for logistics and imports
• Ensure timely procurement of RM/PM and MRO materials per needs
• Verify quality and competitive pricing of purchases
• Monitor import regulations and compliance
• Track and analyze market prices of raw materials
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and SOPs
• Supervise import processes for regulatory compliance
• Provide solutions for procurement issues with stakeholders
• Review supplier contracts for fairness and compliance

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and/or review contract and agreement drafts with suppliers
• Conduct direct negotiations with key suppliers for primary raw materials used by the company
• Lead negotiations with national forwarders for logistics and import purposes
• Ensure timely procurement of RM/PM and MRO materials according to each department’s needs and planning
• Verify that purchased goods meet required quality standards and competitive pricing benchmarks
• Monitor and update regulations from relevant authorities related to the importation of raw materials
• Track and analyze market prices of raw material commodities
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standard operating procedures
• Supervise and ensure import processes run smoothly and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide effective solutions and alternatives for procurement-related issues with both internal and external stakeholders
• Review and assess supplier contracts or agreements to ensure fairness and compliance.
• Conduct periodic assessments of vendor performance and reliability
• Provide recommendations for alternative materials (RM/PM) or vendors to improve efficiency and quality
• Lead and/or participate in process improvement projects within the department and across divisions
