Job summary

PT Setia Kawan Abadi is seeking a purchasing specialist to source raw materials and packaging for Trading and Manufacturing needs. You will manage documents, track purchase orders, and monitor lead times to ensure timely availability.

The role requires procurement experience in manufacturing or related sectors, strong ERP/MS Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven approach to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Purchasing in manufacturing, pharmacy, herbal, or FMCG.
• Understanding of raw material procurement processes.
• Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work quickly.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems; advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source raw materials and packaging materials to fulfil Trading and Manufacturing requirements
• Follow up on documents and material requests from Trading and Manufacturing teams
• Follow up on Purchase Orders and monitor procurement lead times
• Update raw material and packaging material price data on a regular basis
• Identify and search for alternative materials that can support Trading needs
• Coordinate with suppliers and relevant departments to ensure materials are available according to specifications and required timelines

This role involves sourcing raw materials and packaging materials to meet the needs of Trading and Manufacturing divisions, managing purchase orders, monitoring procurement lead times, and coordinating with suppliers and relevant departments to ensure materials are available according to specifications and required timelines.

Key responsibilities

Source raw materials and packaging materials to fulfil Trading and Manufacturing requirements

Follow up on documents and material requests from Trading and Manufacturing teams

Follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor procurement lead times for Trading and Manufacturing needs

Update raw material and packaging material price data on a regular basis

Identify and search for alternative materials that can support Trading needs and promotional activities

Coordinate with suppliers and relevant departments to ensure materials are available according to specifications and required timelines

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Management, or related field)

Minimum 1 year experience as Purchasing (preferably in manufacturing, pharmacy, herbal, or FMCG)

Understanding of raw material procurement processes

Detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work quickly

Proficient in Ms. Excel and ERP systems (advantageous)

Accustomed to working with deadlines
