Job summary

PT Ultra Sakti, a pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company in Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least three years in procurement, with strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity; you will collaborate with multiple departments to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including supplier sourcing, quotation, negotiation, PO issuance, and delivery monitoring.
• Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on price, quality, capacity, lead time, and service.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
• Coordinate with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely procurement.
• Handle procurement for packaging, marketing materials, merchandise, and operational needs.
• Conduct price benchmarking and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor procurement spending, outstanding POs, and supplier delivery.
• Prepare procurement reports and support continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Supervise the procurement team and support procurement initiatives, particularly at Assistant Manager level.

Job description

Coordinate with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely procurement.

Handle procurement for packaging materials, marketing/promotional materials, merchandise, and operational needs.

Conduct price benchmarking and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Monitor procurement spending, outstanding POs, and supplier delivery.

Prepare procurement reports and support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Supervise the procurement team and support procurement initiatives, particularly at Assistant Manager level.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably from FMCG, Beauty/Cosmetics, Retail, E-commerce/Business Enabler, or related industries.

Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization.

Exposure to packaging, product-related materials, or marketing materials is highly preferred.

Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP/procurement systems.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

For Assistant Manager level: experience in team leadership and developing procurement strategies is preferred.
