Job summary

BINUS Malang Campus is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Officer to support procurement activities, ensure supplier integrity, and optimize cost and quality. The role involves coordinating requisitions, validating with budgets, and following through on invoicing and reporting.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of purchasing experience, with strong vendor relations and negotiation skills to drive value.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement purchase engineering activities on goods requisition to ensure reliable vendor integrity, best quality, best price, and on-time goods provision.
• Coordinate and validate goods requests with the budget available.
• Conduct price verification with vendors and maintain purchasing database.
• Follow up on ordering issues and goods return processes with suppliers.
• Handle invoicing and administration for procurement activities and prepare monthly reports.
• Suggest improvements regarding procurement processes and supplier relationships.
• Arrange monthly activity reports to warehouse section head.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
