Job summary

PT Trust Recruit Indonesia is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager based in Central Jakarta to develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives. You will identify and engage qualified suppliers, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms while overseeing end-to-end procurement from requisition to delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing purchasing, a strong supplier network, and knowledge of import/export processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years as Purchasing Manager in manufacturing.
• Experience in marine equipment purchasing is highly preferred.
• Strong supplier network and negotiation skills.
• Willing to travel; SIM A (Driver’s License) is required.
• Based in Central Jakarta.

Job description

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from user requisition and Purchase Order (PO) issuance through to goods delivery.

Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and raw material availability to optimize purchasing efficiency.

Monitor the purchasing budget and prepare financial and operational reports related to purchasing activities.

Ensure purchased goods meet user requirements in terms of specifications and quantities.

Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of goods.

Requirements

Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in a manufacturing company is mandatory.

Experience in purchasing within the marine equipment product (Rubber Dock Fender, Steel Buoys, PE Buoys) is highly preferred.

Strong and established network of reliable and trusted suppliers.

Strong understanding of import and export processes and regulations.

Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

Possess a valid SIM A (Driver’s License) and willing to travel for business trips when required.

Willing to be based in Central Jakarta.
