Job summary

PT Trust Recruit Indonesia is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager based in Central Jakarta to develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives. You will identify and engage qualified suppliers, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate favorable terms while overseeing end-to-end procurement from requisition to delivery.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing purchasing, a strong supplier network, and knowledge of import/export processes.

Qualifications

Engineering degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years as Purchasing Manager in manufacturing.
Experience in marine equipment purchasing is highly preferred.
Strong supplier network and negotiation skills.
Willing to travel; SIM A (Driver’s License) is required.
Based in Central Jakarta.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers, including price comparisons and negotiations.
Manage end-to-end procurement from requisition and PO issuance through delivery.
Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and raw material availability to optimize purchasing efficiency.
Monitor the purchasing budget and prepare financial and operational reports related to purchasing activities.
Ensure purchased goods meet user requirements in terms of specifications and quantities.
Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
