Kacamatamoo in Jakarta is seeking a Procurement Lead to oversee daily purchasing activities, develop supplier relationships (notably with China), and manage end-to-end procurement including import-export coordination. Mandarin fluency is required to negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers.

You will monitor budgets, lead a procurement team, and ensure compliance with import-export regulations while optimizing costs and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in retail, trading, distribution, or manufacturing.
• 1–2 years in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• Fluent Mandarin to communicate with Chinese suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of import-export processes, customs, shipping, and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers, especially from China.
• Negotiate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers on pricing, MOQ, terms and delivery schedules.
• Manage end-to-end procurement: PRs, POs, supplier confirmations, order monitoring.
• Coordinate export-import processes: shipping, customs clearance, documentation, freight forwarders.
• Ensure compliance with import-export regulations and trade documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and procurement costs.
• Identify suppliers, evaluate quotations, and perform cost comparisons.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Inventory, Finance for stock availability.
• Monitor budgets, stock requirements, and procurement planning.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities and process improvements.
• Prepare purchasing reports and supplier evaluations; analyze procurement performance.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the procurement team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain, preferably in retail, trading, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate and negotiate directly with Chinese suppliers.
• Strong understanding of export-import processes, including customs clearance, shipping, freight forwarding, and import-export documentation.
• Experience handling international suppliers, particularly from China.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, price negotiation, MOQ, and payment terms.
• Familiar with import regulations, HS Codes, Incoterms, and relevant trade documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and purchasing or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
