Job summary

PT Pharos Indonesia is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and coordinate purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance across supplier networks in Indonesia.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, a Bachelor's degree, and at least five years of managerial purchasing experience, plus knowledge of export/import processes. You will prepare reports, manage contracts, and optimize stock levels in collaboration with management and warehouse teams.

• Minimum 5 years experience as a manager in purchasing.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of export & import is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and controls activities related to the procurement function.
• Lead and involve the right resources in purchasing to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and full compliance.
• Calculate the cost of orders.
• Prepare, maintain and review purchasing records, produce management reports, track requisitions, contracts and orders, approve bills for payment.
• Collaborate with management in negotiating contracts and lines of credit with suppliers.
• Coordinate with warehouse on min/max stock levels.
• Monitor returns, damaged replacements, and warranty claims.
• Conduct supplier research via internet, catalogs, trade publications, and shows to identify potential suppliers.
• Create vendor/product/service comparison spreadsheets to support management decisions.

• Coordinate with the warehouse minimum stock and maximum stock
• Monitor and support returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims
• Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers
• Create spreadsheets with vendor & product or service comparisons of prospective suppliers to support management decisions
