Job summary

PT Langgeng Dunia Selaras, a progressive FnB bakery restaurant operator based in Surabaya, East Java, seeks a Public Relations professional on a contract basis to lead our communications strategy and brand voice.

The role focuses on building media relations, creating press materials, and coordinating events to amplify brand reach and reputation in the competitive FnB sector. Strong Indonesian and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications.
• Strong understanding of the FnB and bakery industry, including market trends and competition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations and communications strategies aligned with the bakery restaurant's brand identity and business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, journalists, and influencers to secure positive media coverage and brand visibility.
• Create and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other communications materials that effectively communicate company news, product launches, and special events.
• Manage social media presence and coordinate digital communications campaigns to engage with customers and build community around the brand.
• Coordinate and execute events, product launches, and promotional activities that enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Monitor media coverage and public perception, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.
• Respond to media enquiries and manage crisis communications to protect and promote the company's reputation.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communications channels.
• Develop relationships with food bloggers, industry influencers, and local community organisations to amplify brand reach within the FnB sector.
