NOTAPOS AI is seeking a hands-on Mining Site Operations Manager for its gold mining project on Sumbawa Island. You will own daily site execution, manage manpower, equipment, and deadlines, and serve as the company's primary on-site representative ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and operational discipline.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mining/Civil/Industrial Engineering with 3–5 years of mining or industrial-site experience.

Project Manager / Mining Site Operations Manager – Gold Mining Project

Location: Beautiful Island of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Salary: IDR 12,000,000 – 18,000,000 per month

Additional Incentive: Achievement-based bonus linked to gold production output

About Us

We are an emerging technology-driven gold mining company combining mining operations, engineering, metallurgical science, and AI-driven solutions to improve the efficiency of gold mining projects.

Our gold mining project is located on the beautiful island of Sumbawa, Indonesia, operating under a valid and legal IPR (Izin Pertambangan Rakyat) mining license.

We are looking for a hands-on Mining Site Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for the execution and day-to-day management of our gold mining project.

This is a key leadership position. The successful candidate will act as the company's primary representative at the project site, ensuring that all operational activities, manpower, equipment, and project milestones are properly managed and executed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Site & Project Management

• Take overall responsibility for daily mining project operations.
• Manage and coordinate all field activities to ensure project targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Translate management's project objectives into actionable daily and weekly work plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Report directly to company management on operational performance and project status.

2. Manpower & Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate all field personnel, including workers, operators, technicians, and contractors.
• Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to field teams.
• Ensure workers understand their duties, targets, and deadlines.
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and accountability across the site.
• Act as the main decision-maker for day-to-day site coordination.

3. Mining & Processing Operations

• Coordinate ore excavation, loading, hauling, stockpiling, and material handling.
• Supervise Heap Leach Pad preparation, ore placement, irrigation, and operational activities.
• Coordinate with the metallurgical team on testing, process monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Monitor equipment utilization, material consumption, and operational efficiency.
• Identify operational problems and ensure timely solutions.

4. Project Execution & Reporting

• Prepare daily operational plans and progress reports.
• Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Track manpower, equipment, materials, and operational costs.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved technical specifications.
• Escalate major operational risks and propose practical solutions to management.

5. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable mining regulations and IPR license requirements.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and environmental standards.
• Maintain proper site organization and operational discipline.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mining operations, construction projects, or industrial site management.
• Previous experience managing field teams and supervising workers is essential.
• Experience in gold mining or Heap Leach operations is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to manage projects, manpower, equipment, and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of project execution.
• Willing to relocate and be stationed at our mining project in Sumbawa.

Compensation & Performance Incentives

• Monthly salary: IDR 12–18 million, depending on experience and qualifications.
