Job summary

Xtremax is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex application modernization projects for our clients in Bandung, Indonesia. The role requires a strong technical background, deep SDLC expertise, and a proven track record in managing large-scale modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–7 years of experience in Project Management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with government agencies and procurement/compliance in public sector.
• Experience writing software requirements specifications and technical design documents.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; PMP or ITPM certifications preferred.
• Cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with public sector stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review business requirements and IT solutions specifications and lead the team in developing a detailed project plan.
• Review project plans to determine time frames, costing and procedures for accomplishing the projects.
• Execute a range of process activities from RFP to development, testing and final delivery.
• Be accountable for project deliverables, focusing on quality, productivity, and consistency.
• Conduct timely project reviews to recommend changes to schedules, costs, or resources.
• Ensure profitable delivery of quality business systems for external customers on time and within budget.
• Document and track project scope, changes, issues, and risks affecting implementation.
• Manage resources from user requirements, functional specs development, testing, to user training.
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure gathered requirements are realistic and implementable.
• Establish and maintain good business relationships with stakeholders to influence and achieve business goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application modernization projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Engage with public sector stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review the analysis of business requirements and IT solutions specifications and lead the team in developing a detailed project plan.
• Review project plans to determine the time frame, costing and the procedures for accomplishing the projects.
• Execute a range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal, to development, test and final delivery.
• Responsible for project deliverables, with an emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency.
• Conduct timely project reviews to recommend any changes to project schedules, cost or resource requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree from a reputable university.
• 4 to 7 years working experience, with min 4 years experience in Project Management and leading Web Application Projects or implementing Content Management Systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and modern development frameworks.
• Experience working with government agencies and understanding of public sector procurement and compliance requirements.
• Has experience in writing software requirement specification/technical design documents.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools.
• Good written and strong communication skills.
• Candidates with PMP or ITPM certifications are preferred.
• Candidate with Cloud Certification are preferred.
