Job summary

Halo Robotics, a leading Indonesian drone and robotics company, seeks a competent Project Manager (Drone Managed Services) to drive planning, execution and delivery of multiple concurrent projects across mining, oil & gas, power, construction, security and public safety sectors.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of PM experience with drone/geospatial tech, strong leadership, and excellent client communication. Travel to project sites will be frequent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Geospatial fields such as Geomatics, Geology or Geodetic Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with drone or geospatial tech across industries.
• Mining or Oil & Gas project experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with standard project management frameworks and software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of projects, defining scope, deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
• Communicate daily with clients, providing deep technical and PM solutions.
• Prepare and edit project documents from start to finish (proposals, charts, charters, plans).
• Oversee purchasing with procurement and SCM to ensure efficient spend.
• Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and project profitability.
• Ensure quality, track deliverables, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Present results to clients and stakeholders as required.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, PMP policies, and industry best practices.
• Maintain deep knowledge of drone tech across industries.

Requirements

Minimum D3 or S1 preferably in Geospatial Science, Geography, Geomatics, Survey Mapping, Geology, Geodetic Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, including knowledge of drone or geospatial technology across multiple industries

Experience managing projects in the Mining and/or Oil & Gas sector is strongly preferred

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, planning, organizing, and decision-making skills

Excellent professional communication skills and strong team leadership capabilities

Familiarity with professional project management frameworks and software systems

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously

Willingness to travel frequently to client and project locations

Active drone pilot certification is a plus

Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus

Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing is a plus

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including: definition of Scope of Work and detailed deliverables; budgeting, scheduling and planning; efficient use of company team resources and equipment; team leadership and resolution of issues; administrative management of the project and all documentation related to it; and management of the relationship with the clients and all stakeholders on every project

Actively communicate day-to-day with clients, providing full solutions to internal and external parties at both a deep technical and project management level

Prepare and edit project documents from beginning to end, including: Proposals, GANTT Charts, Project Charter, Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Results Reporting, and Project Summary/Project Close

Manage purchasing procedures for project requirements, working closely with procurement and SCM colleagues to ensure efficient spending

Manage project budgets: independently develop budgets, plan and schedule project timelines, coordinate resources in line with budgets, and ensure project profitability and success

Quality assurance: track and communicate project deliverables, monitoring output quality, and report project progress consistently and systematically to all stakeholders

Present project results to clients and stakeholders as required

Ensure all projects comply with SOPs, PMP project management policies, and other international standards and professional best practices

Maintain an in-depth understanding of drone technology across industries
