Job summary

PT Aiia Multi Anugerah is seeking a Project Manager to take full responsibility for project execution in Batam. You will plan, monitor, and control schedules, budgets, and quality while coordinating engineering teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has a minimum S1 in Civil or Industrial Engineering with at least three years of PM experience, strong communication, and fluent English to liaise with clients and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering or equivalent (S1).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience (Project Manager/Engineer/Coordinator).
• Experience coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and clients across the project lifecycle.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager who will take full responsibility for project execution, from planning and implementation through to handover. You will manage schedules, budgets, and work quality, while coordinating engineering teams, field workers, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will also serve as the main point of contact for our corporate clients, ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the contract. This role is ideal for someone with proven project management experience who is ready to work in Batam.

Key responsibilities

Plan, manage, and monitor project implementation (schedule, budget, scope, and quality) in accordance with contract and client targets

Prepare and update project plans, time schedules, budgets (RAB), and progress reports periodically

Coordinate engineering teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers

Serve as the main point of contact with clients, including handling variation orders and resolving issues

Control project costs, including material procurement and term/progress billing

Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety standards and quality throughout all work stages

Oversee completeness of project documents: contracts, minutes of meetings, handover documents, as-built drawings, and project closure documents

Identify project risks and prepare mitigation measures

About you

Minimum S1 degree in Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Site Manager managing projects from planning through handover

Understand the complete project cycle: planning, implementation, control, and closure

Able to prepare and control time schedules, budgets (RAB), and progress reports

Experienced in coordinating multiple parties: internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

Understand project contracts, variation orders, payment terms, and project document administration

Able to read technical drawings and understand budgets and BoQ

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera; PMP certification or equivalent is a plus

Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills

Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written
