Job summary

PT. DRACO INTERNASIONAL is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee on-site construction activities in Indonesia.

You will ensure compliance with plans, specs, and quality standards while managing contractors and internal teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. The role demands strong leadership, budgeting, risk management, and fluent English and Indonesian communication to coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers across large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent
• 5–7 years of experience in project management for large-scale construction
• Experience with infrastructure or data centre projects is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Manage and supervise the construction workforce, including contractors, subcontractors, and labourers, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Monitor project progress against the agreed schedule and take corrective action to manage delays or deviations
• Control project costs and manage budget expenditures, including procurement of materials and equipment
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain high construction standards
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and project correspondence
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site to prevent incidents and ensure worker welfare
• Coordinate logistics and site layout planning to optimise efficiency and safety
• Address and resolve site issues, conflicts, and challenges in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar senior role in construction project management, preferably within large-scale or complex projects

Proven experience managing infrastructure or data centre construction projects is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices

Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams

Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively

Strong communication skills in both English and Indonesian; proficiency in technical terminology

Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations in the construction industry

Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
