We're now looking for Project Development Division Head for our Port & Dry Bulk Logistics Business Unit.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead end-to-end development of port, terminal, and dry bulk logistics projects—particularly within Agri-bulk (food & feed ingredients). The role requires strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to drive commercial and partnership structures for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities=
- Lead feasibility studies, market assessments, technical evaluations, and financial modelling for new port, terminal, or bulk warehouse projects.
- Develop project concepts, business cases, and recommendations based on commercial, technical, and operational analyses.
- Manage the full project development lifecycle—from concept initiation, planning, internal approval processes, to handover for execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, commercial, finance, HSSE, legal, and procurement.
- Drive commercial structuring (JV, BOT, long-term lease) and develop partnership models aligned with market needs.
- Engage and liaise with government bodies, port authorities, regulators, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive project expansion initiatives in the port & dry bulk logistics sector.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Project Development team while fostering a collaborative and high-integrity work culture.
- Support negotiations on technical, operational, and commercial terms with partners and clients.
Qualifications=
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Port & Maritime Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or master’s degree an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in project development or project management for ports terminals, logistics infrastructure, or industrial facilities., preferably in Agri-bulk (food & feed ingredients).
- Experience in integrated conveyor systems, ship unloading/loading, leading capital projects with significant investment value.
- Strong knowledge of port operations and dry bulk cargo handling systems and experience in conveyor systems, warehouse, silos, ship loading/unloading facilities, and terminal operations is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of project finance, Capex evaluation, financial modelling, IRR,NPV and investment appraisal.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance technical, operational and financial considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling business proposals and investment papers that effectively communicate project value, commercial viability, financial returns, and strategic benefits to executive management, shareholders, and potential investors. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
