Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local and group commercial teams to support key customer relationships and receive RFQs and bid requests on cargo movements and infrastructure projects within Indonesia.
• Review and understand contract terms, and lead assignment and delegation of work to coordinators and operations staff.
• Lead pre-operations meetings with customers, vendors, and authorities for key freight arrangements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, 3rd party forwarders, suppliers, customs officials, and port authorities.
• Develop a customer-service culture by training logistics executives in account management and customer service skills.
• Lead and handle OOG air and sea charter freight quotation opportunities for existing customers.
• Ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivery is on time.
• Provide management with weekly freight activities reports.
• Standardize documentation and internal procedures.
• Oversee a compliant vendor list and review vendor rates and performance bi-yearly.

This role involves collaborating with commercial teams to support key customer relationships and manage freight forwarding operations within Indonesia. You will review contracts, lead pre-operations meetings, and oversee the execution of freight arrangements for customers, vendors, and authorities.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with local and group commercial teams to support key customer relationships and receive RFQs and bid requests on cargo movements and infrastructure projects within Indonesia

Review and understand contract terms and conditions, and lead assignment and delegation of work to coordinators and operations staff

Lead pre-operations meetings with customers, vendors, and authorities for key freight arrangements

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, shipping and airfreight carriers, 3rd party forwarders, suppliers, customs officials, and port authorities

Develop a customer-service culture by training and guiding logistics executives in account management and customer service skills

Lead and handle OOG air and sea charter freight quotation opportunities for existing customers

Ensure projects are executed efficiently and delivery is made on time

Provide management with weekly freight activities reports

Standardize documentation and internal procedures

Oversee a compliant vendor list and review vendor rates and performance bi-yearly

Qualifications:
