Job summary

IOM - International Organization for Migration in Jakarta is seeking a Project Assistant (IBG) to support the implementation of Immigration and Border Governance projects and provide administrative assistance from the Jakarta office.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience, strong English and Indonesian skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Reporting to the Senior Project Associate, this position is a Special Short-Term Contract based in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• University degree in Political/Social Sciences, Law, Management, International Relation or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or a completed high school degree with at least 4 years in related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Immigration and Border Governance projects.
• Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information/data related to the IBG projects.
• Support administrative coordination for project implementation with diverse units and external parties; initiate requests and obtain clearances.
• Create and maintain an efficient filing system of project documents.
• Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, and presentations.
• Draft status reports, track payments, verify invoices and receipts; reconcile expenditures and commitments.
• Provide data for financial tracking and reporting; ensure records meet IOM standards.
• Support meetings, workshops, trainings, and outreach campaigns.
