Job summary

Food Manufacture Company in Indonesia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safe operations and adherence to quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting, and English communication skills. You will lead production teams, manage workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Conversational level of English.
• At least 2 years of experience as Production Senior Staff or Supervisor in Japanese food manufacturing, with HACCP, GMP, and Halal procedures.
• Proven experience supervising production teams and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle shift-based operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, and direct production employees to ensure efficient and safe daily operations.
• Assign tasks according to production plans and priorities.
• Organize workflows with schedules, shifts, and manpower allocation.
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate targets.
• Monitor output to meet specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Compile and report production data including output, downtime, and productivity.
• Ensure equipment and tools function properly and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Enforce compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement to boost productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning.
