Job summary

PT. Softex Indonesia is seeking a Production Scheduling/Shopfloor Planning professional to create daily and shift schedules, coordinate shopfloor activities, and ensure materials readiness.

You will drive changeover optimization and monitor execution against plans to minimize downtime and deviations. Ideal applicants have 2-5 years in production scheduling, strong Excel skills, and experience with IFS ERP and APS.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of production scheduling/shopfloor planning experience.
• Detail oriented with calm under pressure and strong operations communication.
• Experience with IFS ERP including MRP, routes and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and sequence daily/shift production activities to optimize line efficiency.
• Coordinate shopfloor activities, issue work orders, and manage deviations within set windows.
• Ensure materials readiness by checking MRP or inventory exceptions and elevate shortages when needed.
• Optimize changeovers to minimize time and waste across product families.
• Track plan vs. actual performance and report downtime or deviations for replanning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including run-rule updates and schedule stability.
