Job summary

PT Sanwa Engineering Batam is seeking a results-driven Planner to develop, coordinate, and execute optimized production schedules in Batam, Indonesia. You will ensure on-time delivery by aligning material plans with procurement and production teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma (D3) in Engineering or Logistics, have 3+ years in production planning or supply chain, excel in Advanced Excel and SAP, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in production planning or supply chain management.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel.
• Solid SAP experience and understanding.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Willing to work in Batam, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement for material requirements planning (MRP).
• Optimize capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Analyze inventory levels to minimize carrying costs and ensure continuity.
• Track and report on key production and planning metrics.
• Interface with sales, production, and quality teams to meet demands.
• Maintain and analyze data within the planning system (e.g., SAP).
