Job summary

PT. BALI BAJU AKTIF is seeking a hands-on, all-rounder Production Manager to oversee our garment production from sample handover through to finished, delivered product. The role is based at our Bali office with regular travel to suppliers and factories across Bali.

You will work closely with our in-house designer managing tech packs and sample development, and take ownership of timelines, fabric and trim management, quality control, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production from sample handover to bulk production and final delivery.
• Track styles through production with up-to-date status reporting.

• Identify delays early and resolve issues with vendors.
• Ensure on-time delivery across styles and seasons.
• Visit suppliers and factories to check progress and maintain relationships.
• Manage fabric and trim orders, POs, delivery and payment tracking.
• Coordinate fabric shipments between suppliers, warehouse and vendors.
• Check measurements, construction, colour, fabric quality against tech packs.

Job description

We're looking for a hands-on, all-rounder Production Manager to oversee our garment production from sample handover through to finished, delivered product. You'll work closely with our in-house designer (who manages tech packs and sample development) and take ownership of everything that happens once a sample is approved, including vendor coordination, timelines, fabric and trim management, quality control, and on-time delivery. This is a hands-on role based at our Bali office, with regular travel required to visit suppliers, factories, and vendors across Bali (and occasionally further afield).

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full production process from sample handover to bulk production and final delivery
• Track every style through production and maintain clear, up-to-date status reporting
• Set and follow up on timelines and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
• Follow up with vendors independently, spotting delays early and solving problems before they become issues
• Ensure on-time delivery across all styles and seasons
• Visit suppliers and factories on the ground as needed to check progress, resolve issues, and maintain relationships
• Manage fabric and trim orders, purchase orders, delivery, and payment tracking
• Coordinate fabric shipments between suppliers, warehouse, and garment vendors
• Check measurements, construction, colour, fabric quality, and finishing against approved samples and tech packs
