Job summary

PT. IMTEC MOLD INDONESIA is seeking a Staff Project Management to ensure projects meet timelines, customer specs, quality, and targets, acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments until production entry.

The role requires a minimum D3/S1 in relevant engineering, fluent English and Mandarin, and 1–2 years of project management experience in Injection molding or tooling. Strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are needed to create timelines and reports, with growth in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading 2D/3D drawings and project documentation.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; good communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor projects from kickoff to mass production.
• Create and monitor project timelines, targets and progress according to plan.
• Coordinate with customers on needs, specs, changes and targets.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Design, Tooling/Mold, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and PPIC.
• Ensure each project stage meets schedule, quality, cost and customer requirements.
• Prepare and control project documents such as timeline, minutes, progress and trial reports.
• Identify obstacles or delays and coordinate to find solutions.
• Lead or participate in project meetings with clear action owners.
• Support new project/new model processes until production entry.

Job description

Staff Project Management is responsible for ensuring every project runs according to timeline, customer specifications, quality, and set targets, and serves as a liaison between customer and internal departments until the project successfully enters the production phase.

Key responsibilities

Manage and monitor projects from project kick-off, mold/tooling creation, trial, to mass production

Create and monitor project timeline, targets, and progress according to established schedule

Coordinate with customers regarding needs, product specifications, design changes, and project targets

Coordinate with related departments such as Engineering, Design, Tooling/Mold, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and PPIC

Ensure each project stage runs according to schedule, quality, cost, and customer requirements

Monitor progress of mold creation, mold modification, trial T0/T1/T2, until customer approval

Prepare and control project documents such as project timeline, meeting minutes, progress report, trial report, and project status

Identify project obstacles or potential delays and coordinate to find solutions

Lead or participate in project meetings and ensure each action item has a responsible person and completion target

Support new project/new model process until the project is ready to enter production phase

About you

Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin

Minimum 1-2 years experience as Project Management/Project Engineer, particularly in Injection Molding, Plastic Manufacturing, Automotive, or Mold/Tooling industries

Understanding of basic plastic injection molding process and mold creation is an added value

Understanding of new project development flow from drawing/product development, mold making, trial, improvement to mass production

Able to read 2D/3D technical drawings

Understanding of basic problem solving and project management

Able to use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Able to create project timeline, monitor progress, and prepare project reports

Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and customers

Able to work with targets, deadlines, and multiple projects simultaneously

Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive, and possess good analytical skills
