Job summary

PositiveLinks Asia is seeking a Product IT Business Analyst to join our technology team in Jakarta. You will bridge product, IT and sales to understand customer needs, help shape solutions and present these ideas to clients.

This is not a purely traditional BA role. You will gather requirements, translate them into functional specs for development, collaborate with UI/UX, developers, QA and project managers, and participate in Agile/Scrum activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, SWE or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of IT BA / Product Analyst / Functional Consultant or similar role.
• Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, ERP, CRM or DMS is a plus.
• Experience with FMCG or large enterprise clients is an advantage.
• Strong English communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment and supporting Sales during solution presentations/pre-sales.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Sales team to support pre-sales activities and present suitable product/solution offerings to clients.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, developers, QA and project managers throughout the SDLC.

• Support the development and rollout of new products and solutions.

This role supporting both existing products and the rollout of new solutions, including a potential product with an AI element.

What makes this role interesting is that it is not purely a traditional BA position.

You’ll work across Product, IT and Sales understanding customer needs, helping shape solutions and then being able to present those solutions to clients.

Key Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner or similar role.
• Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, DMS or other B2B software/solutions is an advantage.
• Experience working with FMCG or large enterprise clients is an advantage.
• Strong English communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a client-facing environment and supporting Sales during solution presentations/pre-sales.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
