Job summary

PT Ultra Sakti is a leading Indonesian pharmaceutical company seeking an IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. You will analyze processes, translate requirements into functional specs, and support ERP implementations across the organization.

Collaborating with business users, IT teams, and external partners, you will identify optimization opportunities, ensure alignment with SAP modules (FICO/MM/SD/PP), and support UAT and documentation for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP is required, with exposure to FICO, MM, SD, PP modules advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or related environments is a plus.

IT BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description

As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging business requirements and technology solutions to support the company's business processes and digital initiatives. This position is responsible for understanding business processes, identifying system and process improvement opportunities, translating business requirements into functional solutions, and supporting the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems.

You will collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that technology solutions effectively support business needs and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand end-to-end business processes to identify system gaps, process improvement opportunities, and potential solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and system specifications.
• Work closely with business users and IT teams to ensure that system solutions are aligned with business processes and requirements.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Evaluate system functionality, identify gaps between business requirements and existing systems, and propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants/vendors throughout system implementation, testing, issue resolution, and enhancement activities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, issue tracking, validation, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Document business processes, functional requirements, system workflows, and related project documentation.
• Provide support and analysis for system-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, ERP implementation, IT Consulting, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology or system solutions.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required.
• Experience with SAP will be a strong advantage, particularly candidates with exposure to modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, or other relevant SAP modules.
• Candidates with experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, SAP Functional Consultant, or IT Consultant are welcome, provided they have a strong understanding of business processes and system implementation.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or other business environments will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with business and system-related data.
