Job summary

PT. United Family Food is seeking a Product Development Staff to create new formulas and improve existing confectionery products.

The role involves lab-scale formulation, supplier ingredient assessment, and collaboration with the manufacturing team to scale up processes. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in product development within the food sector, strong knowledge of shelf-life testing, QC, and halal assurance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or related major.
• Minimum 1-2 years in product development, preferably in food/confectionery.
• Experience with confectionery or ready-to-meal products is a plus.
• Proficient in product trials, shelf-life testing, and QC.
• Knowledge of halal assurance, quality mgmt, and food safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work both in office and factory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

PT. United Family Food is a confectionery company; committed to continuously serve the best products and service to our customers. We are looking for talented and passionate members to become part of Unifam as Product Development Staff.

• Develop new formula for NPD project and an improvement formula for the existing product on the laboratory scale.
• Collaboration with the manufacture team to scale up lab formulation into production scale.
• Check and assess ingredients from suppliers that suitable for development of the project.
• Collaboration with the manufacture team in term of improvement process or commissioning new machine.
• Provide process technology input for new product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or any related major.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
• Previous experience handling confectionery or ready-to-meal products is a strong plus.
• Proficient in conducting product trials, shelf-life testing, and quality control.
• Have knowledge and skilled in halal assurance system, quality management system and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Willing to work both in office and factory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
