Job summary

PT United Family Food is seeking a Product Development Staff to develop new confectionery formulas and improve existing products, coordinating with the lab and production teams to scale from laboratory to manufacturing scale.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in Food Technology or related field with 1–2 years in product development, preferably in confectionery, and has knowledge of halal assurance, quality management, and food safety standards, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in product development, preferably in food or confectionery.
• Experience handling confectionery or ready-to-eat products is a strong plus.
• Proficient in conducting product trials, shelf-life testing, and quality control.
• Knowledge of halal assurance systems, quality management systems and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Willing to work both in office and factory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new formula for NPD projects and improve existing products at lab scale.

• Work with manufacturing to improve processes or commission new machines.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new formula for NPD project and an improvement formula for the existing product on the laboratory scale.

• Collaboration with the manufacture team in term of improvement process or commissioning new machine.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or any related major.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in product development, preferably in the food or confectionery industry.
• Previous experience handling confectionery or ready-to-meal products is a strong plus.
• Proficient in conducting product trials, shelf-life testing, and quality control.
• Have knowledge and skilled in halal assurance system, quality management system and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
