Job summary

Swissôtel Nusantara, a distinguished 5-star hotel in Indonesia’s IKN, invites a procurement professional to join our team. You will handle requisitions, source suppliers, and coordinate with departments to deliver timely purchases while upholding brand standards.

The ideal candidate speaks Bahasa Indonesia and English, with at least 1 year in an international brand, strong negotiation and vendor-management skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in an international brand; remote area work preferred.
• Hands-on, organized, good communication and negotiation skills.
• Working knowledge on procurement procedures, supplier management, vendor database and Kitchen daily market list.
• Ability to work with MS Office programs (Excel in particular) and POS system.
• Strong eye-to-details and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Flexible with working hours and tight deadlines.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weight, stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for pricing, quality and service.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill procurement needs timely.
• Maintain good relationships with approved suppliers and vendors.
• Verify quotations, product specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in negotiating prices and terms under guidance.
• Ensure purchases comply with hotel policies, approval procedures, and brand standards.
• Maintain documentation and filing of purchasing records.
• Monitor delivery status and follow up on orders.
• Assist in supplier databases and vendor evaluations.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Cost Control and Finance for smooth processes.
• Support inventory control activities and stock availability.
• Prepare purchasing reports and provide admin support.
