Swissôtel Nusantara, a distinguished 5-star hotel in Indonesia's upcoming capital, offers a chef role to join a dynamic kitchen team. You will manage a section, prepare dishes with artistry, and collaborate with the Head Chef to refresh menus.

You will uphold food safety standards and train staff to sustain quality. Ideal candidates have 1 year+ in an international brand, strong leadership and language skills, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in an international brand.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, inventory system, and culinary skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and coordinate activities within designated kitchen section.
• Prepare and cook dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all food handling, preparation, and storage.
• Train the team in cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the kitchen management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in cost control measures and minimize food waste.
• Ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours.
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the Head Chef in developing new dishes and menus based on the current trends.
• Well-groomed and a can-do attitude.
• Flexible with working hours and ability to work under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weight, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
