Job summary

Rasa Group in Indonesia is seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Specialist to strengthen procurement operations and support business growth through effective sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and purchasing excellence.

You will conduct strategic sourcing, manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across the procurement process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
• Minimum D3/S1 in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong MS Office and ERP experience.
• English proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement for materials, evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, availability, and requirements.
• Supplier management, performance monitoring, and compliance with company requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, lead time, and commercial conditions.
• Manage procurement processes and risk mitigation actions.
• Maintain vendor database and procurement records; develop supplier performance insights.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide reports for management decisions.
• Utilize ERP/procurement systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar) to support purchasing processes.

We are looking for a strategic and result-oriented Procurement Specialist to strengthen our procurement operations and support business growth through effective sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and purchasing excellence.

What You Will Do:

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Conduct strategic sourcing activities for materials and procurement needs, including identifying potential local and overseas suppliers and evaluating the best sourcing alternatives based on cost, quality, availability, and business requirements.
• Supplier Management & Development: Build, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while monitoring supplier performance, delivery, quality, responsiveness, and compliance with company requirements.
• Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, lead time, and commercial conditions to achieve competitive purchasing costs and maximize procurement efficiency.
• Procurement Process & Risk Management: Manage procurement activities in accordance with established procedures, identify potential supplier and procurement risks, and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
• Vendor Database & Performance Monitoring: Maintain accurate supplier databases and procurement records while developing supplier performance insights to support sourcing and purchasing decisions.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze purchasing and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities, purchasing trends, supplier risks, and areas for process improvement, and provide relevant reports for management decision-making.
• ERP & Procurement System: Utilize ERP and procurement systems such as QAD, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar platforms to support purchasing processes, supplier data, and procurement reporting.

• Strong Supplier Relationship Builder: You can establish professional relationships with local and overseas suppliers while maintaining high standards of performance and compliance.
• Experienced Procurement Professional: Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in F&B, FMCG, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Education: Minimum D3/S1 from Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• System & Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office and experience using ERP/procurement systems such as QAD, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar.
• Language Skills: Good command of English; Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage.
