Job summary

PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya in Jakarta is seeking a procurement associate to support purchase orders, maintain procurement records, monitor inventory, and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure stock availability.

You will engage in supplier communication, assist in cost analysis and price negotiations, support tender documents, and help implement procurement policies. Strong communication in Indonesian and English and proficiency with Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Knowledge of basic procurement principles, sourcing strategies and supplier management
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate cross-functionally
• Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying process improvements
• Familiarity with procurement systems or ERP software is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure adequate stock availability
• Participate in supplier communication and follow-up on order status, delivery schedules and quality issues
• Support cost analysis and price negotiations under the guidance of senior procurement staff
• Maintain and update procurement databases, records and reports
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand material and service requirements
• Support the preparation of tender documents and bid evaluations when required
