CM Studio is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to support office interior design, fit-out, exhibition and custom furniture projects. You will handle sourcing, supplier evaluation, RFQ processes, and negotiate terms to ensure right quality, price, and delivery.
You will read BOQ and material specs, coordinate with project teams, monitor orders, and maintain supplier records. Strong Excel/Sheets skills and at least 3 years in procurement are required.
CM Studio is looking for an experienced and highly accountable Procurement professional to support office interior design, fit-out, exhibition and custom furniture projects. Procurement is not simply about purchasing at the lowest price — it is about securing the right specification, right quality, right price, and right delivery time for every project.
Key responsibilities
Handle procurement of materials, products, services, and subcontractors for interior fit-out and furniture projects
Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors based on price, specification, quality, lead time, capacity, and reliability
Prepare RFQ and conduct quotation comparison and commercial evaluation
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead time, warranty, and other commercial terms
Ensure purchased materials comply with approved Gambar Kerja, material specifications, BOQ, and project requirements
Coordinate closely with Project, Site, Design, QS/Estimator, Warehouse, Finance, and Production teams
Monitor purchase orders, fabrication/procurement schedules, and delivery status to prevent project delays
Identify alternative suppliers and materials when required without compromising project specifications and quality
Maintain supplier database, purchasing records, price history, and procurement documentation
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor performance
About you
Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in interior fit-out contractors, office interior projects, furniture manufacturing/custom furniture, or construction/building contractors
Strong knowledge of interior and furniture materials such as plywood/MDF, HPL, veneer, hardware, glass, metal, paint/finishing, flooring, ceiling, partitions, sanitary products, lighting, and other fit-out materials
Able to read and understand BOQ, material specifications, and Gambar Kerja
Strong sourcing, vendor evaluation, quotation analysis, and negotiation skills
Good understanding of procurement lead time and its impact on project schedules
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
Able to manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously under project deadlines
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial awareness
