Job summary

PT Triefta Aroma Nusantara, a Surabaya-based manufacturer, seeks a Procurement & EXIM Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement and international trade operations. The role covers supplier selection, cost control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient, compliant procurement and EXIM processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement, EXIM, and team leadership, with experience in ERP systems and Excel, and is willing to be based in Surabaya/Gresik, East Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing and/or EXIM.
• 3+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and purchasing processes.
• Good understanding of import/export processes and documentation including PIB, PEB, Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, COO, HS Code, and Incoterms.
• Familiar with customs clearance and coordination with forwarders/PPJK.
• ERP/procurement systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English for communication with overseas suppliers and partners.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to stay at Gresik, East Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Procurement and EXIM Departments to support the company's operational needs.
• Develop procurement strategies, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost-saving programs.
• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including PR, PO, local purchasing, import purchasing, and delivery monitoring.
• Manage EXIM activities, including shipment, import/export documents, customs clearance, HS Code, Incoterms, and coordination with forwarders/PPJK
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of price, quality, lead time, delivery, and service
• Coordinate with Finance, PPIC, Warehouse, QA/QC, Sales, and other departments
• Control the Procurement & EXIM budget, including freight, duty, tax, and other related costs.
• Conduct cost and landed cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.
• Monitor and report Procurement and EXIM KPIs and take corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure procurement and EXIM activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
• Lead, assign tasks, develop, and evaluate the Procurement and EXIM teams.
• Identify and manage supply, supplier, and logistics risks to ensure business continuity.

About the role
We are seeking a Procurement & EXIM Manager to join our team at our Surabaya, East Java location on a full-time basis. This is a strategic role that sits at the heart of our supply chain operations, encompassing both domestic procurement management and international export-import (EXIM) activities. You will be responsible for overseeing the complete procurement lifecycle whilst managing complex international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimising costs, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This position is integral to supporting the operational excellence and growth objectives of PT Triefta Aroma Nusantara.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, International Business, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing and/or EXIM.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position.

Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and purchasing processes.

Good understanding of import/export processes and documentation, including PIB, PEB, Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, COO, HS Code, and Incoterms.

Familiar with customs clearance and coordination with forwarders/PPJK.

Able to perform cost analysis, landed cost analysis, budgeting, and cost-saving initiatives.

Familiar with ERP/procurement systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication with overseas suppliers and partners.

Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions effectively.

Willing to stay at Gresik, East Java
