Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a focused procurement professional to support the procurement process for vessels, stores, spare parts, and services. You will collect data, prepare specifications, and assist in tendering, quotations, and vendor evaluations.

You’ll coordinate with vessel operations and internal stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing, accurate documentation, and compliant purchasing records in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 0–2 years of procurement-related experience or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and tender/bidding.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and data related to procurement needs and specifications.
• Prepare procurement documents including specifications, quantities and requirements.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, including budgets and evaluation results.
• Conduct vendor evaluations by assessing supplier performance, pricing, quality, delivery and compliance.
• Analyze and compare vendor quotations and bidding proposals for cost-effective procurement.
• Review bunker consumption and procurement data, ensuring accuracy and invoice verification.
• Coordinate procurement activities for vessel operations to ensure timely sourcing of stores, parts and services.
• Monitor procurement transactions and maintain accurate procurement records in compliance with procedures.
