Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a procurement specialist in Jakarta to support vendor evaluation, bidding, and timely sourcing of vessel stores and services. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate procurement documentation and cost-effective decisions.

The role requires 0–2 years in procurement or related fields, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication with internal stakeholders and vendors. On-site work in Jakarta is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or related role.
• Understanding of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, quotation analysis and tender procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and data related to procurement needs and specifications.
• Assist in preparing procurement documents, specifications, quantities, and requirements.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, including budget and evaluation results.
• Conduct vendor evaluations by assessing performance, pricing, quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Analyze and compare vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing and compliance.
• Review bunker consumption and procurement data, verifying documents and invoices.
• Coordinate procurement activities for vessel operations to ensure timely sourcing and delivery.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
