Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain roles.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, quotation analysis, tender/bidding procedures, and purchasing documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and collaboration skills under pressure with stakeholders and vessel operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and data related to procurement needs, including specifications of products or services required.
• Assist in the preparation of procurement documents including specifications, quantities and other requirements.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, including the budget and evaluation results.
• Conduct vendor evaluations by assessing supplier performance, pricing, quality, delivery, and compliance to support procurement decisions and maintain an approved vendor database.
• Analyze and compare vendor quotations and bidding proposals to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with technical requirements.
• Review bunker consumption and procurement data, ensuring accuracy of purchases and invoice verification with stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement activities related to vessel operations, including sourcing and delivery of stores, spare parts, equipment, and services.
• Monitor procurement transactions and maintain accurate procurement records following company policies and procedures.
