Job summary

PT Human Protalent Indonesia based in Jakarta seeks a proactive Procurement Specialist to support supplier sourcing, price comparisons, PO creation, and contract documentation for Tsingshan Group openings across units.

You will coordinate with Warehouse, Finance, and Operations, communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, ensure timely deliveries, maintain records, and uphold policy compliance. Fresh graduates are welcome; strong Excel and English skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for daily communication with Chinese suppliers.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good command of English is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, PO creation, supplier management, quotation comparison, and contract documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple procurement tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier sourcing and obtain quotations for materials, equipment, and services.
• Handle the procurement process, including preparing purchase orders (PO), contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with Chinese and local suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, product specifications, and order status.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports.
• Compare supplier quotations and conduct cost analysis to achieve competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Warehouse, Finance, and Operations to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled.
• Support contract execution and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and service standards.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
