This role involves planning and managing the procurement process for goods and services, including supplier evaluation and negotiation, inventory management, and cost optimization to ensure operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Plan and manage the procurement process for goods and services

Search, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors

Manage stock and inventory to meet operational needs and avoid overstock or understock situations

Conduct forecasting of goods requirements based on sales and production data

Ensure purchase orders are processed on time and within budget

Perform stock audits and inventory checks on a regular basis

Manage supplier relationships and ensure goods quality meets standards

Create procurement and inventory reports including stock levels, costs, and lead times

Optimize procurement and storage costs for efficiency

Coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams

About you

Minimum S1 education, preferably in supply chain management or industrial engineering

Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management

Understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, negotiation, and goods procurement

Understanding of inventory control, stock audits, stock accuracy, and management of fast and slow moving items

Ability to conduct forecasting and goods requirement planning

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or inventory systems
