PT JAC Consulting Indonesia seeks a seasoned Process/Maintenance Engineer to lead optimization and reliability improvements in plastic compounding operations. You will troubleshoot downtime, plan preventive maintenance, and drive automation upgrades.
You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams to meet targets, install new equipment, and support engineering projects. English proficiency is required; experience in Japanese manufacturing companies is a plus.
Lead process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives in polymer compounding operations. Troubleshoot production, process, and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Drive factory automation projects, including PLC, HMI, sensors, and process control systems.

About you
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Polymer Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in plastic compounding, extrusion, masterbatch, or polymer manufacturing
Hands-on experience with twin-screw extruders, mixers, feeders, pelletizing systems, and utility equipment
Strong automation experience involving PLC, HMI, sensors, instrumentation, and process control systems
Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for manufacturing equipment and processes
Experience in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability improvement
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OEE, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Good leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Experience in Japanese manufacturing companies is an advantage
