Job summary

Donna Dining Ubud is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the pre-opening team of a new contemporary Italian restaurant in Ubud. You will oversee pre-opening and daily operations, maintain service standards, and lead the team to deliver refined guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of restaurant management, strong leadership, budgeting knowledge, and familiarity with Italian dining and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in Asia.
• Experience in premium or refined dining concepts.
• Knowledge of Italian food, wine and service preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Good understanding of P&L, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong guest service, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Confident using POS systems and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-opening and daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain strong floor presence and service standards.
• Lead, train and develop the team.
• Implement and maintain SOPs and operational procedures.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams.
• Manage scheduling and operational readiness.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery.
• Support recruitment and onboarding.
• Drive operational improvements and efficiency.
• Report regularly to the Group Operations Manager.
