Job summary

PT. Safround Logistics Indonesia is seeking a Custom Broker for our Import & Customs division in our South Jakarta office.

You will navigate customs regulations to facilitate smooth international shipments and ensure full compliance with laws. Qualifications

• Must have PPJK Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Custom Broker or in a similar customs-related role.
• Thorough understanding of customs laws, regulations and procedures, both locally and internationally.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with customs authorities and clients.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex customs-related issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant customs software and IT systems.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in customs, logistics or a related field would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all necessary customs documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Liaise with customs authorities and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or queries that arise.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on customs-related matters, helping them to minimize delays and maximize cost savings.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in customs laws, regulations and policies, and adapt procedures accordingly.
• Collaborate with the broader logistics team to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to import and export activities.
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports to track the progress and performance of customs-related processes.
