You will liaise across production, procurement, and logistics, develop schedules, monitor stock, and ensure ERP records are accurate. Strong analytical skills and ERP experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in SCM, Logistics, Materials Management, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain roles.
• Strong ERP proficiency and manufacturing planning software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with data-driven insights.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Specialist to join PT Ocean Centra Furnindo. This is a full-time position based in Cikupa, Banten, and plays a crucial role in optimising our production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain operations. As PPIC Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between production, procurement, and logistics to meet customer demands whilst maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimising operational costs.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available production capacity

Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses and production facilities to ensure adequate stock without excess build-up

Coordinate with procurement teams to place purchase orders aligned with production requirements and lead times

Analyse demand patterns and sales data to forecast material requirements and anticipate supply chain needs

Manage stock movements and optimise warehouse space utilisation through effective inventory rotation and organisation

Liaise between sales, production, and procurement departments to resolve scheduling conflicts and supply issues

Track and report on key performance indicators including inventory turnover, stock-out incidents, and production efficiency

Implement and maintain accurate inventory records in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance production planning efficiency and reduce operational waste

Respond to urgent production needs and adjust schedules as required to meet priority orders

What we're looking for

Formal qualification or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related discipline

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or supply chain management roles

Strong proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing planning software

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights

Solid understanding of production processes, inventory management principles, and supply chain logistics

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across departments

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data analysis

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office software

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions

Preferred: Experience in the furniture manufacturing or similar heavy manufacturing industries
