DKSH Indonesia is seeking a Local Business Line Manager for the Personal Care Industry to lead the local business line, drive revenue and profitability, and strengthen the company’s position with customers and principals in Indonesia.

The role requires 8–12 years of commercial experience with at least 5 years in sales leadership or business-line management, and a strong track record in developing business with major personal care manufacturers.

Qualificações

• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably within personal care/cosmetics ingredients.
• At least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership, business line management, or commercial management role.
• Proven experience managing sales targets and profitability/P&L.
• Strong track record in business development and establishing relationships with major personal care/cosmetic manufacturers.
• Experience working with international principals or specialty ingredient manufacturers.
• Experience leading and developing a commercial/sales team.

Responsabilidades

• Implement local Business Line strategy in line with European Business Line Director and Local Business Unit Manager.
• Lead, manage and control the overall operations of the local Business Line to achieve objectives including local P&L, EBIT and KPIs.
• Proactively develop new business opportunities to increase market coverage and portfolio.
• Coordinate and provide functional leadership to Sales Managers.
• Assist Sales Managers in negotiations and claims.
• Develop synergies across industry clusters and manage local product portfolio alignment with European leadership.
• Inform and coordinate with European stakeholders on transfers and business development opportunities.
• Visit clients and key customers regularly (approval required).
• Represent the Business Line in the country organization and participate in Local BU management.
• Ensure compliance with DKSH policies and local laws.
• Define stock levels for new products and strategy for local marketing and events.
• Organize regular business review meetings with Sales Managers and approve profiles for new recruits.
