Job summary

DKSH Indonesia is seeking a Local Business Line Manager for the Personal Care Industry to lead the local Personal Care business, drive revenue growth and profitability, and strengthen DKSH as a preferred market-expansion partner for customers and principals.

You will manage the local Business Line and team, align strategies with the European Business Line Director, and coordinate cross- cluster activities, while building strong relationships with key customers and international principals.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant commercial experience in personal care or cosmetic ingredients.
• At least 5 years in a sales leadership or commercial management role.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and P&L profitability.
• Strong track record in business development and key customer relationships.
• Experience with international principals or specialty ingredient manufacturers is preferred.
• Experience leading and developing a commercial/sales team.
• Good understanding of the Indonesian personal care industry and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Implement local Business Line strategy aligned with European Director and Local Unit Manager.
• Lead and control local Business Line operations to meet objectives and KPIs.
• Develop new business opportunities with Personal Care clients to expand market coverage.
• Coordinate and provide functional leadership to Sales Managers.
• Support Sales Managers in negotiations and claims.
• Utilize synergies across industry clusters and manage local product portfolio.
• Inform European Director and BL colleagues about transfers and opportunities across markets.
• Visit clients and key customers regularly (approval required).
• Represent Business Line interests in the country organization and BU management.
• Produce local Business Line reports and forecasts as needed.
