UOB Investment in Medan seeks a Personal Banker Team Head to drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and product cross-selling across branches. You will lead a team of Personal Bankers, monitor performance, and ensure policy compliance while maximizing client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership skills, proficiency in Hokkien and English, and a willingness to work across branches in the same city. Mandarin is a plus, and a bachelor’s degree is required.

Mansioni

• Acquire NTB customers for Retail Bank at designated location or coverage area to increase customer base, balance, and revenue through referrals, offline exhibitions, and MGM programs.
• Proactively approach in-segment prospective clients to identify financial needs and interest in UOB products.
• Provide product and proposition information outlining features and benefits to prospective clients.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for investments and other products.
• Assist clients with account opening processes and maintain relationships for referrals.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Personal Bankers to achieve individual and team targets.
• Monitor team performance, sales activities, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth.
• Provide guidance to team members to improve performance.
• Ensure team compliance with bank policies, SOPs, SLA and regulatory requirements.

Personal Banker Team Head

Job Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management

• Acquire NTB (new to bank) customers for Retail Bank at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase number of customer, balance and revenue for the bank with focus on sourcing from referral, offline exhibition and MGM program
• Proactively approach in-segment prospective clients to identify and understand real financial needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in UOB's products
• Provide product and proposition information for UOB prospective clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
• Identify Investment cross-selling opportunities as well as to sell other products
• Assist prospective clients in all account opening process and maintain good relationship with UOB clients for referral opportunities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Personal Bankers to individual and team targets.
• Monitor Team Performance, sales activities, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth.
• Provide guidance to team members to improve their performance and capabilities
• Ensure the team complies with bank policies, SOP's, SLA's, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and report team progress to management.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Hokkien is required
• Proficient in Mandarin is preferred
• Bachelor degree's any major from reputable university
• Good communication in English written and conversational
• High motivation, curiosity to learn banking industry and adaptive
• Willing to be placed in different branches in same city
