UOB Medan is seeking a Personal Banker Team Head to lead a team of Personal Bankers, drive NTB acquisition, cross-sell investments, and deliver high-quality client service. You will manage performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staff to meet individual and team targets.

Willingness to be placed at different branches within the same city and to adapt in a dynamic banking environment is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Hokkien is required.
• Proficient in Mandarin is preferred.
• Good communication in English written and conversational.
• Bachelor degree in any major from a reputable university.

Responsabilités

• Acquire NTB customers for Retail Bank within designated location to increase customers, balances and revenue.
• Proactively approach in-segment clients to understand financial needs and interests in UOB products.
• Provide product information and outline features/benefits to clients.
• Identify investment cross-selling opportunities and sell other products.
• Assist with account opening and maintain relationships for referrals.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Personal Bankers to achieve targets.
• Monitor performance, sales activities, and portfolio growth.
• Guide team members to improve performance and capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, SOPs, SLA, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and report progress to management.

Personal Banker Team Head

Job Responsibilities:

• Acquire NTB (new to bank) customers for Retail Bank at designated location or assigned geographical coverage area in order to increase number of customer, balance and revenue for the bank with focus on sourcing from referral, offline exhibition and MGM program
• Proactively approach in-segment prospective clients to identify and understand real financial needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in UOB's products
• Provide product and proposition information for UOB prospective clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits
• Identify Investment cross-selling opportunities as well as to sell other products
• Assist prospective clients in all account opening process and maintain good relationship with UOB clients for referral opportunities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Personal Bankers to individual and team targets.
• Monitor Team Performance, sales activities, customer acquisition, and portfolio growth.
• Provide guidance to team members to improve their performance and capabilities
• Ensure the team complies with bank policies, SOP's, SLA's, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and report team progress to management.
