Job summary

PT Global Yimi Cargo (J&T Cargo) is seeking an experienced Head of Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll operations for diverse employee types across multi-site logistics environments.

The role requires strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations (PPh21), BPJS, and outsourced manpower management, with excellent Excel and HRIS skills. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

• Manage outsourced workforce admin including onboarding, payroll coordination, and offboarding.
• Address payroll/HR inquiries and support grievance resolution and policy adherence.
• Prepare payroll reports and drive system improvements and process optimization.

Job description

Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including salary calculation, overtime, incentives, allowances, deductions, tax (PPh 21), BPJS administration, and payroll processing for permanent, contract, and outsourced employees.

Ensure payroll accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies, labor regulations, taxation requirements, and applicable statutory laws.

Coordinate with HR, Finance, Operations, and external payroll/outsourcing vendors to maintain accurate employee data, attendance, leave, shift schedules, and payroll administration.

Manage outsourced workforce administration and vendor relationships, including onboarding, employee movement, contract administration, payroll coordination, performance monitoring, and offboarding processes.

Handle employee relations matters by addressing payroll and HR-related inquiries, supporting grievance resolution, disciplinary processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Prepare payroll reports and workforce analysis, provide recommendations to management, and drive payroll system improvements, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industries.

Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor law, BPJS, PPh21, and outsourced manpower management.

Experience handling large-scale and multi-site payroll operations.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and maintain high confidentiality.
