Job summary

Indonesia Defence Services seeks a Payroll Officer to manage monthly payroll using Talenta and ensure accurate salary, overtime, allowances, and deductions. You will coordinate with HR for hires, resignations, and promotions, and prepare payroll summaries for Finance.

The role requires 2–3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and solid knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, PPh 21, and BPJS regulations. On-site with confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, or related field.
• 2–3 years' end-to-end payroll experience (HRIS like Talenta/SAP).
• Expert Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables and data formatting.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations and BPJS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running monthly payroll using Talenta, ensuring timely and accurate calculations of salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
• Check input data and coordinate with HR Recruitment and HR Generalist for updates (new hires, resignations, promotions).
• Prepare payroll summaries and reports for Finance, including reconciliation tasks.
• Calculate and report PPh 21 for employees with supervision from supervisor.
• Submit and document monthly tax and BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan reports to relevant departments or consultants.
• Ensure statutory deductions and payments are processed correctly and on time.
• Process monthly medical and transport reimbursements according to the schedule.
• Maintain payroll-related employee data in HRIS, especially onboarding, offboarding, salary changes, and contract updates.
• Prepare standard payroll and benefit reports as required by HR or Finance.
• Support documentation during internal and external audits.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in end-to-end payroll using an HRIS system (e.g., Talenta, SAP, etc.)

Expert in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data formatting

Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, PPh 21, and BPJS regulations

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidentiality

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using Talenta is a plus point

Having a tax brevet A&B certificate is a plus
