Job summary

DP World Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced People Manager to lead HR functions across the Surabaya project. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding while advising managers on policies and employment laws.

You will manage employee relations, coordinate training programs, maintain HR records, and support payroll/benefits. A strong grasp of Indonesia labor laws and Bahasa Indonesia and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; HR certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as HR Manager in a startup or greenfield/brownfield environment.
• Strong understanding of Indonesia labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HR software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, offboarding.
• Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees on policies and laws.
• Manage employee relations, mediate conflicts and maintain a positive environment.
• Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reports with data integrity and confidentiality.
• Support compensation & benefits administration including payroll coordination.
• Contribute to DEI initiatives within the project.
• Assist in HR communications and employee engagement activities.
• Stay updated on HR trends and regulatory changes.
