Responsibilities

• Translate oral communication between Mandarin-speaking experts, supervisors, staff and production teams
• Accompany supervisors or Mandarin-speaking experts during coordination, inspection and monitoring of production activities
• Translate work instructions, procedures, directives, and technical information for employees
• Assist coordination between production, warehouse, quality control, technical and other departments
• Translate documents, production reports, work orders and correspondence
• Assist with office administration: data recording, filing, report preparation, and basic data processing
• Ensure translated information is accurate, clear and timely
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and comply with safety policies

This position is responsible for supporting communication between management, Mandarin-speaking experts, local staff, and production teams to ensure the company's operational activities run smoothly and effectively. The role requires working in both production areas and office environments, understanding factory dynamics, and adapting to dynamic operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate oral communication from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa between supervisors, experts, staff, and production teams
• Accompany supervisors or Mandarin-speaking experts during coordination, inspection, and monitoring of production activities in the field
• Translate work instructions, operational procedures, production directives, and technical information for relevant employees to understand
• Assist communication and coordination between production, warehouse, quality control, technical, and other related departments as needed
• Translate documents, production reports, work orders, and correspondence related to company operations
• Assist with office administration work, including data recording, document filing, report preparation, and simple data processing
• Ensure translated information is accurate, clear, and delivered on time
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and comply with safety regulations and procedures

About you

• Able to speak Mandarin and Indonesian well, orally (mandatory) and written understanding is a plus
• Able to translate conversations and work instructions accurately and clearly
• Willing to work in production areas and office as per operational needs
• Ready to face factory work environment, including heat, noise, and production activities, while complying with safety standards and using required personal protective equipment
• High work ethic, disciplined, honest, thorough, responsible, and able to work under pressure
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities
• Able to operate computers, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel (optional)
• Willing to follow working hours and company regulations
• Experience as a Mandarin translator in manufacturing or factory environments is a plus
• Understanding of production terminology, machinery, quality, and factory operational procedures is a plus
